The Northsiders

The Northsiders are a brand new blues, soul and funk trio conceived over coffee in the colorful backstreets of Brunswick East. Lending powerful vocals and a rich guitar sound is US-born, Aotearoa-raised Oscar LaDell. On bass is the mighty Chris Rourke, providing a rock-solid foundation for the group’s free-flying improvisation. Rounding out the trio is Englishman WIll Harris on drums bringing boundless creativity and a joyful expression that pulls the audience to the dance floor. Mixing soul and blues classics by artists like Otis Redding, BB King and Ann Peebles with instrumental explorations that range from soul-jazz to hypnotic funk, The Northsiders bring a show that will heal your soul and make you move.
